RACE INFORMATION

READY....SET....GO!

RACE DAY
Sunday 21st September, 2008.

PACKAGE PICKUP
The distribution of race numbers, ChampionChips to measure your time, tshirts and your goody bag, takes place at the Tech Shop. (11419-104ave.)
Friday from 5pm- 8pm
Saturday from 10am - 4pm.
Late packages can be picked up at the race site up to 30minutes before the event.

RACE ITINERARY
Sunday, September 21

7:30am - 8:30am Late package pickup, timing chip issued
***ALL ATHLETES MUST CHECK IN PRIOR TO 8:30AM (REGARDLESS OF DISTANCE)***
8:45am Pre-race briefing (FOR ALL ATHLETES)
9:00am 10km START
9:15am Half marathonSTART
11:30am Awards & Draw Prizes
** ALL times subject to change. Times will be confirmed at package pickup

PARKING
Ample parking is available at the Zoo.

START TIME
The half marathon start is at 9am.
The 10km start is 15 minutes later.

WATER STATIONS
Refreshments are served at three stations per lap (2.5km, 5km & 7.5). You can choose between Sports Drink and water.

THE FINISH LINE
After passing the finish line please move forward 200 meters. Remove your ChampionChip and leave it with one of our volunteers. Just past the finish, you will find fruit, muffins & more! We will provide warm and cool drink.
Our medical services will also be availabl here.

DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES
Top finishers in each 10year age group will receive their prizes onsite at approximately 11am. All runners who cross the finish line will receive a finishers medal.

RESULTS LIST
Results will be posted onsite as they are updated and official results will be posted on our website within 24hours of the event.
